[40A2-40A2];[40A5-40A5];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
40A2;40A5
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Lethal in combination with Df(2L)BSC102.
Lethal in combination with Df(2L)ED1466.
Df(2L)BSC101 failed to complement Df(2L)Exel6049. Inferred to overlap with: Df(2L)Exel6049.
Presence of P+PBac{XP5.WH5}BSC101 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003.
Cytological breakpoints of Df(2L)BSC101 predicted from the progenitors' Release 3 genome coordinates are 40A2;40A5.
