Genomic fragment that encompasses Lkb1; extends from 2.8 kb upstream of the translation start site to 1kb downstream of the stop codon. The coding sequence has been mutated to carry a C564A amino acid substitution; this is expected to result in a protein that cannot be farnesylated. In addition, a GFP tag has been inserted at the N-terminal end of the coding sequence.
