Reference

sov protein is observed in the nucleus of germline cells within region 1 of the germarium, with the highest levels evident within the germline stem cells. Levels of sov are diminished in other areas of the germarium. sov is also observed within follicle cells and follicle stem cells. It is also observed in the nuclei of nurse cells and follicle cells in later-stage egg chambers.
