Description

UASt regulates expression of Cint\AOX bearing 4 mutations at conserved residues at the predicted diiron centre (E239A, H242A, E344A, H347A). These mutations are predicted to destroy the binding of iron to the active site, whilst only minimally disturbing the overall structure of each subunit.
