Drives expression in secondary neuroblasts, but not in type I or type II neuroblasts.

At embryonic stages, ScerGAL4GMR9D11 drives expression in secondary neuroblasts and their progeny.

ScerGAL4GMR9D11 drives expression in secondary neuroblasts, but not in type I or II neuroblasts.

ScerGAL4GMR9D11 drives expression in secondary neuroblasts, including the lineages derived from larval dorsomedial type II neuroblasts. Expression in lineages is much stronger in late-born cells which are located more proximally in the cell body cluster with respect to the neuroblast than early-born cells that are located distally to the neuroblast.

ScerGAL4erm.R9D11 labels the six dorsomedial and two lateral type II lineages that are produced by the secondary neuroblasts. Some cells in the optic lobes are also labeled. At the pupal stage, the progeny of the secondary neuroblasts are located in close association with the neuronal tracts of the fan-shaped body, noduli and protocerebral bridge.
