ScerGAL4TrpA1.C-D cells are enteroendocrine cells marked with anti-pros, except for large cells in the middle midgut that appear to be enterocytes .

This Gal4 construct was designed to better capture upstream enhancer elements of TrpA1. In contrast to previously published reporters, ScerGAL4TrpA1.C-D shows expression nearly exclusively in in larval class IV dendritic arborizing neurons (mdIV nociceptors) and their central projections.
