These neurons send axonal projections in an umbrella like pattern to the left and right dorsal regions of the subesophageal zone and co-express (in separate experiments) ScerGAL4^Gr2a.2.2, ScerGAL4^Gr23a.3.5, and ScerGAL4^Gr57a.6. Expression is also seen in projections from an L2 GRN in the labellum that reach into the central part of the subesophageal zone.

ScerGAL4^Gr93d.2.4 drives expression in the following series of neurons.
