ScerGAL4Gr93a.5 drives expression in the following series of neurons. Larval gustatory receptor neuron of the epiphysis DP1, where it is coexpressed with ScerGAL4Gr33a.4.7, ScerGAL4Gr66a.1.8, ScerGAL4Gr32a.3.7.PW, ScerGAL4Gr22b.5.8, ScerGAL4Gr39a.a.3.4, ScerGAL4Gr39b.4.4, ScerGAL4Gr9a.6.3, ScerGAL4Gr22d.3.1, ScerGAL4Gr22e.2.5, ScerGAL4Gr28b.a.3, ScerGAL4Gr39a.b.1, ScerGAL4Gr58b.1, and ScerGAL4Gr59d.4.1. Larval gustatory receptor neuron of the epiphysis DP5.

ScerGAL4Gr93a.5 drives expression in adult abdominal multidendritic neurons with with dorsal processes extending along the left-right axis, as well as in multidendritic neurons with lateral processes extending anteroposteriorly; these major processes have several protruding dendrites. Expression is also observed in projections to the abdominal ganglion.

ScerGAL4Gr93a.5 is expressed in gustatory neurons of 6 of the bitter-sensitive short labellar taste bristles.

ScerGAL4Gr93a.5 is expressed in some of the short bitter-sensitive sensilla of the labellum.

ScerGAL4Gr93a.5 drives expression in one gustatory receptor neuron of the larval dorsal pharyngeal sense organ (DPS or epiphysis).
