Description

Transgenic construct used as a control in a study of the role of the Trl (GAGA) protein in the enhancer-blocking activity of Fab-7, a domain boundary element from the bithorax complex. Derived from P{wRW+we}; 1340bp of random DNA (with no enhancer blocking activity) has been inserted between the w enhancer and w transcription unit.
