Description

Transgenic construct used in an enhancer-blocking assay to study the function of the dwg protein and its interactions with the scs chromatin domain boundary element. A fragment containing four copies of the BSwt oligonucleotide from region C of the scs insulator element has been inserted into P{wRW}, between the w enhancer and the w transcription unit. Three copies of the BSwt are in forward orientation, the 3' most one is in reverse orientation.
