jigr1 reporter expression is observed in third instar larval wing and eye-antennal discs. In second instar wing discs, expression is observed in a stripe at the presumptive DV boundary, weakly in the hinge region, and in a circle surrounding the presumptive wing pouch. In third instar wing discs, the DV band resolves into two narrowly separated bands that coincide with Dl expression. ct is expressed in the narrow gap between them.
