In the eye disc, ScerGAL4Rala-PG69 drives expression in photoreceptor precursor cells. Expression is enriched in R3 precursor cells beginning at row 4 posterior to the morphogenetic furrow; in some ommatidia posterior to row 7, expression levels are higher in R4 precursor cells than in R3 precursor cells.
