Drives expression in a strong anteroposterior gradient in a subset of body wall muscles, starting at abdominal 1 ventral internal muscle 1 (muscle 31) in abdominal segment 1 and decreasing in ventral longitudinal muscles 3 and 4 (muscles 6 and 7) of every abdominal segment. No or very low levels were detected in muscles other than ventral longitudinal muscles 3 and 4 in A2-A8. About 5 neural sensory cell bodies per hemisegment also exhibit strong levels of expression in the body wall.
