The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by George Jackson, University of Texas Medical Branch.
P{GMR-TARDBP.J} contains an insect codon-optimized human TARDBP (aka TDP-43) gene under the control of GMR in the P{Express-glass} vector (FBtp0012991). Homozygotes are lethal as pharate adults with rare escapers. Has mildly rough external eye which undergoes progressive depigmentation.
P{GMR-TARDBP.J}3-4 is an insertion on the second chromosome.
P{UAS-TARDBP.J} contains an insect codon-optimized human TARDBP (aka TDP-43) gene under the control of UAS in the P{Express-UAS} vector (FBtp0012992).
P{UAS-TARDBP.J}6M is an insertion on the second chromosome. Strong expression.
P{UAS-TARDBP.J}3 is a homozygous viable insertion on the third chromosome. Strong expression.
