AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).
pdm3 is expressed in a similar pattern in both the wing and haltere discs - the anterior edge of the pouch and several spots in the hinge region - but at a higher level in the haltere disc than in the wing disc.
pdm3 protein is expressed in ring neurons of the ellipsoid body, co-localising with the expression of ScerGAL4c105, ScerGAL4lilli-189Y, ScerGAL4Aph-4-c232 and ScerGAL4c42.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.

pdm3 plays a specific role in axonal targeting of R neurons for normal ellipsoid body development.
pdm3 is required for ellipsoid body development during the early pupal stage (in the first 48 hours after pupal formation).
pdm3 plays a role in regulating a subset of odorant reeceptor genes and may act in concert with other transcription factors to form a combinatorial code to specify olfactory receptor neuron fates.
