Expression of CkIIαScer\UAS.N.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 and Scer\GAL80elav.PS in a CkIIαP2 mutant background results in synaptic retractions at 43% of analyzed neuromuscular junctions.

Expression of two copies of CkIIαScer\UAS.N.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of two copies of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in a dramatic increase in the number of satellite boutons per neuromuscular junction. These altered synaptic boutons often contain only a single synapse, a feature never observed at control neuromuscular junctions.
