When taydsRNA.Scer\UAS is expressed in the wing blade under the control of Scer\GAL4MD-638 the wings are reduced in size, display ectopic veins and show some defects in the most distal region of the wing margin. This phenotype is enhanced in a heterozygous Df(1)tay mutant background.
