Adulthood-only expression of SH3PX1HMJ21552 under the control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU or under the combined control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU, Scer\GAL80Su(H).GBE leads to a progressive and severe increase in the number of mitotic cells (phospho-H3 staining) in the midgut and to intestinal dysplasia, as compared to controls; this outcome is not obtained when expression is driven by Scer\GAL4NP0001. (The temporal regulation of expression is dependent on Gal80[ts] and induced by temperature shift to 29[o]C for 7 days during adulthood)
