Expression of AdamTS-AUAS.RB under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU (combined with Scer\GAL80repo.PL) has no effect on larval brain morphology, however expression controlled by Scer\GAL4repo results in an elongated nerve cord and flattened brain lobes. Similar morphological defects are also observed upon Scer\GAL4repo-driven expression of AdamTS-AUAS.RB in the AdamTS-Arnwy1/AdamTS-Arnwy2 mutant larvae.
AdamTS-AUAS.cIa/Scer\GAL4tey-5053A partially rescues AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5
AdamTS-AUAS.cIa/Scer\GAL4btl.PS partially rescues AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5
AdamTS-AUAS.cIa, Scer\GAL4elav.PU, Scer\GAL80repo.PL fails to rescue AdamTS-Arnwy2/AdamTS-Arnwy1
Expression of AdamTS-AUAS.cIa driven by Scer\GAL4elav.PU fails to rescue the neural invasion phenotype (neural cells from the brain invade adjacent peripheral structures such as imaginal discs) characteristic for AdamTS-Arnwy1/AdamTS-Arnwy2 mutant larvae when combined with Scer\GAL80repo.PL, but the phenotype is rescued if the driver is used alone. Scer\GAL4repo-driven expression also rescues the invasion phenotype but replaces it with severe morphological anomalies: an elongated nerve cord and flattened brain lobes.
Expression of AdamTS-AScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 rescues the germ cell migration defects seen in AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5 embryos.
Expression of AdamTS-AScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A partially rescues the germ cell migration defects seen in AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5 embryos.
Expression of AdamTS-AScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A rescues the caudal visceral mesoderm migration defects seen in AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5 embryos.
Expression of AdamTS-AScer\UAS.cIa under the control of either Scer\GAL4tey-5053A or Scer\GAL4btl.PS rescues the mis-migration of tracheal visceral branches seen in AdamTS-AKO/Df(3R)88F5 embryos.
