The expression of Tip60GL00130 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tk.PS leads to fewer enteroendocrine cells and accumulation of lipid droplets in the adult anterior midgut. Adults show increased lethality to infection with V. cholerae.

Expression of Tip60GL00130 under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16, Scer\GAL4nos.PG and Scer\GAL4otu.T:Hsim\VP16 causes significantly decreased female fertility, as compared to controls.

Expression of Tip60GL00130 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 does not affect the development of the germarium or ovariole, but results in a significant proportion of eggs showing the 'dumpless' egg phenotype, as shown by defective late stage egg chambers with short eggs and non-fragmented nurse cells, and a significant reduction in egg-laying, as compared to controls.

Flies expressing Tip60GL00130 under the control of Scer\GAL4fat do not exhibit a significant difference in survival time under starvation stress, as compared to controls.
