The expression of Hsap\TARDBPUAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in external eye degeneration.

At day one post eclosion flies expressing Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU do not display any obvious eye defects but as they age the begin to show mild pigmentation loss.

Expression of Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in modest rough eye phenotype in adult flies.

Ectopic expression of Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not cause significant eye degeneration.

Expression of Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a modest eye degeneration phenotype.

The moderate eye pigmentation loss observed in aged flies expressing Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is significantly enhanced by co-expression of CG5445NIG.5445R, in addition some flies (even young ones) display necrotic patches in the eye. On the other hand, co-expression of CG5445Scer\UAS.cUa slightly mitigates the progression of the pigmentation loss in Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC-expressing adults.

The weak rough eye phenotype observed in adult flies expressing Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is not significantly modified by co-expression of either Hsp67BcScer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 or CG14207Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5.

Co-expression of Hsap\FUSScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 and Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF leads to moderate eye degeneration.

Co-expression of Hsap\FUSR521H.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 and Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF leads to severe eye degeneration.

Co-expression of TER94Scer\UAS.cRa and Hsap\TARDBPScer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF doesn't generate an eye phenotype, indicating there is no interaction between these transgenes.
