No increase in male aggression is seen compared to controls when neurons labelled by Scer\GAL4GMR61H07 are activated by inducing expression of TrpA1Scer\UAS.(B).cKa at 6 days after eclosion by shifting flies to 29[o].
Expression of TkScer\UAS.cAa under the control of Scer\GAL4Tk (either the P{Tk-GAL4.TH}5Fa or P{Tk-GAL4.TH}3Ma insertion) fully rescues the defects in aggressive behavior seen in TkΔ1/Df(3R)ΔTk2 mutant males. No rescue is seen when TkScer\UAS.cAa is driven by another insertion of the same construct, P{Tk-GAL4.TH}2Ma, or Scer\GAL4GMR61H07.
