    ScerGAL4CG2162-NP3056 drives expression in one to two neurons that innervate the larval antennal lobe (AL) and the subesophageal ganglion. The cell bodies labeled neurons are located lateral to the AL.

    ScerGAL4CG2162-NP3056 drives expression in cell bodies found in the local interneuron cluster located lateral and dorsolateral to the antennal lobe, and is expressed in approximately 56 cells, most of which are ipsilaterally projecting.

    ScerGAL4CG2162-NP3056 drives expression in mostly GABAergic antennal lobe local interneurons.

    Ablation (using Cbβ\DT-AI.UAS) of Scer\GAL4NP3056 neurons, in combination with a Gal80[ts] transgene to restrict expression to between late third instar larva and 6.5 hours after puparium formation, results in differences in the relative distances between antennal lobe glomeruli, with general shifts along the dorsal-ventral and antero-posterior axes, compared to controls; there is no obvious mistargeting of projection neuron dendrites.
