UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expression with P{GAL4-tim.E}27, P{GAL4-tim.E}62, P{GAL4-tim.E}82 or P{GAL4-tim.E}86, in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa, results in lethality. Inclusion of Scer\GAL80cry.PS or Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS rescues the lethality of P{GAL4-tim.E}27 Fer1HCHKK110669 flies; the resulting flies show normal circadian rhythms in constant darkness.
Circadian arrhythmicity in constant darkness is observed when when Fer1HCHKK110669 (together with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) is expressed via Scer\GAL4elav-C155.
