The expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR leads to complete indirect flight muscle atrophy at 90h APF.

The expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, Scer\GAL4c739 or Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1 (always in combination with Dicer-2 expression, for efficient RNAi) leads to significant increases in the mushroom body and the Kenyon cell cluster sizes, as compared to controls; the Scer\GAL4sd-SG29.1-driven expression also leads to a significant increase in the proportion of mitotic neuroblasts and ganglion mother cells, despite of no change in neuroblast number, in Kenyon cell clusters and leads to a significant increase in Kenyon cell size, as compared to controls. Clonal expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 (in combination with Dicer-2 expression, for efficient RNAi) leads to a significant increase in Kenyon cell size and to a significant increase in clone cell number, despite of no changes in apoptosis or in neuroblast number and size, within Kenyon cell clusters, as compared to controls.

Expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 has no apparent germarium phenotype.

Expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in male flies with almost complete wing loss.

Expression of sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in female flies with almost complete wing loss.

Scer\GAL4tj-NP1624-mediated expression results in an incomplete epithelial monolayer of egg chambers at stage 2.

Expression of sdKK108877 (co-expressed with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU reduces glial cell numbers in the third instar larval eye disc.

Clones that are both wtsx1 homozygous and express sdKK108877 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU are lethal in the wing.

The marked delay in pupariation characteristic for larvae expressing Syx7KK101990 under the control of Scer\GAL4rn.PU can be partially suppressed by co-expression of sdKK108877.

sdKK108877 completely suppresses the eye overgrowth phenotype seen in flies co-expressing RtGEFHMS00741 and ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.

The female sterility due to tumorous germaria induced by Scer\GAL4C587-driven expression of ykidsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T is rescued by co-expression of sdKK108877 - the double knock-down females are fertile and without significant germaria defects.

The rather moderate tumorous germarium phenotype characteristic for adult female flies expressing cidsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 is significantly improved by co-expression of sdKK108877.

Expression of sdKK108877 suppresses the increase in glial cell number seen in larval eye discs expressing ykiS168A.Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5 under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU.
