Expression of AlasKK101189 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.PU and Scer\GAL4VP16.mat.αTub67C results in shorter, fatter shaped first instar larvae, relative to controls, with melanized injuries on their surface; these phenotypes are not observed when AlasKK101189 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4knk.int1.
Expression with P{GAL4-tim.E}27 or P{cry-GAL4.Z}17, in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa, results in lethality.
