The expression of mydKK100114 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PK leads to a progressive decrease in flight ability, and to a progressive degeneration of dlm neuron axon termini by the neuromuscular junction, which are almost completely absent in 21-days old adults.
Adulthood-only expression of mydKK100114 under the control of either Scer\GAL4Mhc.PK or Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL (and Gal80[ts] for the temporal control of expression) also leads to a progressive decrease in flight ability.
