Expression of GSd431^GSd431 under the control of Scer\GAL4^109(2)80 results in reduced dendrite growth (reduction in the area of the dendritic field) and increased dendrite branching in the dendritic arborisation neurons of the dorsal peripheral nervous system cluster in stage 17 embryos.

Several defects are seen in Fas2-positive axon bundles of the ventral nerve cord in embryos expressing GSd431^GSd431 under the control of Scer\GAL4^scrt-11-6; missing or disrupted axon bundles, fused axon bundles and axons crossing the midline are seen. In the periphery, the ISNb, ISNd, SNa and SNc motor neurons are missing or thinned.
