Adults expressing hidGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Depending on the insertion line used, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR can result in viable flies or adult/pharate lethality.

Scer\GAL4Orct2-cald-GAL4, Scer\GAL4Kr.PM WGD1673 embryos exhibit a strong, persistent amnioserosa phenotype.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in the absence of 0% or 90-100% of the Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237-expressing area of the notum, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in an enlarged notum, depending on the insertion line used.

Expression of WGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in crinkled wings.

Expression of WGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 causes a mild defective thorax closure phenotype.

The dendritic field coverage defects and loss of terminal branches observed in class IV dendritic arborizing neurons of third instar larvae expressing nosdsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4477 is suppressed by co-expression of hidGD1673 RNAi.

Expression of WGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4mir-263b-Δ-G4 strongly suppresses the loss of interommatidial bristles which is seen in bftΔ263a/bftunspecified flies.

RNAi-mediated knockdown of W through expression of WGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF considerably suppressed the cell death phenotype of flies expressing rprUTR.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in the developing eye.

Coexpression of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa with WGD1673, under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH and Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, results in lethality, while expression of only WGD1673 with these drivers does not. Coexpression of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa with WGD1673 under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 also leads to lethality.

Comments

RNAi-mediated knockdown of W through expression of WGD1673 in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF suppresses WGMR.PG-induced eye ablation.
