      Somatic clones of BRWD3PX3 homozygous cells survive in adult eyes, but are highly disorganised.

      BRWD3PX3/BRWD3PX3 eye discs at 48 hours after puparium formation have an excess of interommatidial cells and rhabdomeres that sometimes fail to cluster in the middle of each ommatidium. At 65 hours after puparium formation, marker analysis suggsts that apical junctional domains are disrupted in these discs.
