Inserted in the 5' UTR of Rho1 at nt160164 of GenBank scaffold AE003808.3.
Embryos in the offspring of homozygous Rho1L3 mothers display areas of decreased actin as well as areas of excessive actin associated with rings. Actin does not remain in apical caps during metaphase in these embryos. Actin pseudocleavage furrows often appear thickened in cross-sections in mutant embryos, but they do not show extension defects.
Embryos derived from Rho1L3 germ-line clones develop with variable defects ranging from failure to establish organized actin structures in the most severe cases to irregular and often only partial membrane invagination in the least severe cases.
Made by mobilizing PBac{GAL4D,EYFP} using P{neoFRT}40A, P{FRT(whs)}G13 as a target chromosome.
