Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR13F02 (in combination with a Gal80[ts] transgene to restrict expression to the adult stage) results in enhanced memory after conditioning in an olfactory conditioning assay.

Conditional expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU (GAL80ts has been used to limit expression to the adult stage) results in increased sensitivity to ethanol-induced sedation in adult flies compared to controls.

Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU in clones results in mild-mistargeting of Or59c-expressing olfactory receptor neurons in 20% of adult brains.

Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU (using tub-Gal80[ts] to limit the expression to the adult stage) significantly enhances 3 hr memory of adult flies in an aversive olfactory assay compared to controls.

Overexpression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS in mushroom body neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107 does not result in gross axon or cell proliferation defects.

Scer\GAL4ey-OK107/tsrS3A.UAS is a suppressor of adult mushroom body & axon | somatic clone phenotype of ssh1-11

Scer\GAL4ey-OK107/tsrS3A.UAS is a suppressor of antennal lobe & axon | somatic clone phenotype of ssh1-11

Co-expression of scribKK106065 does not affect the memory performance of flies expressing tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR13F02 (in combination with a Gal80[ts] transgene to restrict expression to the adult stage).

Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4NP7175 significantly suppresses the axon growth phenotype seen in the α/β mushroom body lobes of sickA384/sickΔ mutants.

Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU reduces the axon mistargeting phenotype seen in Or59c-expressing psidin1 olfactory receptor neuron clones by 14%.

The axon growth and guidance defects seen in homozygous ssh1-11 adult mushroom body clones (which are generated as neuroblast clones in newly hatched larvae) are almost completely suppressed by co-expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107. The axon growth defects seen in neuroblast clones of optic lobe and antennal lobe contralateral projection neurons are partially suppressed by co-expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107.

Comments

Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107 partially rescues the cell proliferation defects seen in homozygous tsrN96A adult mushroom body clones (which are generated as neuroblast clones in newly hatched larvae); only γ and α/β neurons are generated in these clones. Expression of tsrS3A.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4OK107 partially rescues the axon growth defects seen in single cell tsrN96A γ neuron clones in the mushroom body.
