Detailed Description
Statement

Gas41f05565 homozygotes die at first larval instar stage, the few escapers that survive to adulthood show a necrotic phenotype with necrotic patches observed in the scutum, notum and scutellum regions.

Combination with a single copy of Gas41f05565 also partially suppresses the variegation of the short scutellar bristle phenotype characteristic for T(2;3)SbV adults leading to a significantly higher proportion of short (stubble) bristles than in T(2;3)SbV alone.

The mortality of Gas41f05565 homozygotes as well as the necrotic patches (on scutum, notum and scutellum) observed in the surviving adults is further enhanced by combination with either armi72.1 or Dcr-1Q1147X.

Combination of wdsRNA.GMR.cGa with Gas41f05565 or Gas41NP2248 individually in heterozygous or together in transheterozygous state, significantly ameliorates the loss of pigmentation in the adult eye induced by the wdsRNA.GMR.cGa RNAi.
