When VangScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6 is expressed in the mushroom body under the control of Scer\GAL4ey-OK107 the β lobe axons fail to terminate properly at the CNS midline and display medial lobe fusion phenotype.

The orientation of division of sensory organ precursor cells in the developing nota of VangScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6; Scer\GAL4neur-P72 pupae is normal.
