Stat92EScer\UAS.cPa driven by Scer\GAL4nos.PU does not significantly affect germline stem cell number in testes.

Ectopic expression of Stat92EScer\UAS.cPa in the eye disc from first instar larval stage under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU (induced through heat-shock treatment of first instar larvae to inactivate Scer\GAL80αTub84B.PL) significantly suppresses the increased apoptosis observed in cells of the first mitotic wave subjected to x-ray irradiation.

Expression of Stat92EScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH, Scer\GAL4elav.PLu, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 does not result in any mutant eye phenotype.

Expression of Stat92EScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 results in aberrant migration of the border follicle cells.
