      There is a significant reduction in heart diameter in 1 week old eveunspecified eveemeΔNS adult flies.

      Diastolic and systolic diameters of live eveunspecified eveemeΔNS adult hearts in A4 abdominal segments are significantly reduced compared to controls.

      The following cardiac phenotypes are observed in eveunspecified eveemeΔNS flies: 1) non-contractile asystolic heart periods or temporary cardiac arrest; 2) double or multiple beats within otherwise regular periods; 3) varying duration of diastolic intervals resulting in arrhythmias.
