      blEP954 mutants (under the activation of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1)exhibit wing notching and bristle tufting.

      Expression of blEP954 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in additional scutellar macrochaetae, and the loss of several macrochaetae. Sensory organs with one socket and no shaft and one socket and two shafts and shafts with a branched tip are seen.
