      Comments

      Daily 30 minute heat shocks rescue RrvB1/Df(3L)R-E to the pupal stage, the majority of flies die as pharate adults and the minority eclose as viable adults. Rescue results in a greater proportion of adults eclosing than for Rhs.T:Hsap\MYC. Twice daily heat shocks produces flies with wild type eye morphology, both externally and with respect to photoreceptor cell differentiation and rhabdomere formation.
