Expression of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS in trachea generates bifurcated, abnormally shaped air sac primordiums.

Expression of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4OK6, does not result in ISNb or SNa pathfinding defects.

Flies expressing tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 have smaller wings than normal with a loss of wing vein L4 and the anterior crossvein.

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4p127 in the fusion cells disrupts fusion in 19% of the dorsal branches. Suppression of expression of hdc suggests a failure of fusion cell differentiation. When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4btl.PS a similar, though milder, phenotype results.

Flies expressing tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS (carrying 3 to 4 copies of P{UAS-tkv.1ΔGSK}) under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 have small wings with partial loss of vein L4 and both cross veins. Veins L2 and L3 are closer together than normal and the triple row margin bristles are shifter more distally/posteriorly. Flies expressing higher levels of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS (carrying 6 to 8 copies of P{UAS-tkv.1ΔGSK}) under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 have very small wings that show fusion of veins L2 and L3 as well as L4 and L5. Wing discs of larvae expressing tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 are strongly reduced in size.

Flies expressing two copies of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 show partial loss of vein L4, and vein L2 starts to merge with L3.

Co-expression of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS partially suppresses the loss of thoracic bristles seen in adults expressing Vap-33-1Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4sca.PU.

The wing phenotype caused by expression of gbbScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 and the wing phenotype caused by expression of dppScer\UAS.cHa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 is partially suppressed if the flies are also coexpressing tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS.

Co-expression of one copy of tkv1ΔGSK.Scer\UAS partially suppresses the wing phenotype caused by scwScer\UAS.cNa or dppScer\UAS.cHa expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4A9.
