The Dad reporter is expressed in ~43% of pMad-positive nuclei in the ventral nerve cord.

Dad reporter is expressed in 414 +/- 26 nuclei of the larval ventral nerved cord. This is about 43% of the pMad-positive nuclei in the ventral nerve cord.

EcollacZ^Dad-j1E4 expression is observed in the anterior and posterior adult midgut, and is expressed at high levels in and adjacent to the copper cell region (CCR, adult midgut anterior regions R3a and R3b). EcollacZ^Dad-j1E4 is a marker for BMP signalling.
