Overexpression of mspoScer\UAS.cUa in embryos under the control of Scer\GAL4eve.eme decreases the number of muscle nuclei, notably in DA1.

Overexpression of mspoScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4eve.eme reduces the fusion rate of embryonic myoblasts compared with wild-type.

Scer\GAL4how-24B-mediated expression in the muscles does not affect the morphology of these muscles or the formation of muscle insertions.
