Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Expression of dppαTub84B.PZ results in disruptions in the follicle cell epithelium by stage 10B.

Clones in the sternite or lateral tergite cause transformation of nearby tissue to pleural identity.

Clones expressing dppαTub84B.PZ in the male external genitalia result in small duplications and not complete pattern reorganisation. They also show fusion of lateral lobes and claspers of both sides in the middle, leaving no opening to the exterior. All structures of the penis apparatus, except the hypandrium and the long and short bristles present on it, are absent. Clones in the vaginal plate result in duplication of the thorn and long bristles and fusion at the tip of the vaginal plate.

Clones expressing dppαTub84B.PZ develop normally in most of the tergite.
