repoEX84/+ mutants exhibit significantly impaired long term memory performance 24 hours after spaced training in an aversive olfactory association paradigm, as compared to controls; but do not show significantly decreased anesthesia-resistant memory performance 24 hours after massed training in an aversive olfactory association paradigm, as compared to controls.
Late stage 14 embryos show disruptions in the axon scaffold. The projections of the VUM neurons are particularly affected. PNS phenotype is much weaker. AT later stages fibers are partially defasciculated. In mutant embryos of stage 17 the VNC remains extended to various degrees. The surface of the VNC in all mutant embryos has a very rough and loosely packed appearance. At the end of stage 12, the MM-CBG prematurely stop migrating. At this stage the number of glia in the VNC is wild type, but by stage 16 the total number of glial cells in the CNS is reduced.
