N228term
Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase based on reported amino acid change. The mutation was reported a N228@ change but amino acid 228 is a Y.
Level of Drs induction of bacterially challenged pll2/pll21 mutants is lower than in wild type. Pattern of response of CecA1 and CecA2 parallels that of Drs. Dpt and Dro remain fully inducible and pattern of expression of AttA and Def in intermediate. Infection of pll2/pll21 mutants with A.fumigatus causes 4% survival 3 days postinfection, infection with E.coli causes 87% survival 3 days postinfection.
Strong pll allele.
