      perN.T:Ivir\HA1/+ flies (carrying an extra copy of per) do not display significant loss of overall behavioral rhythmicity as the proportion of rhythmic flies is comparable to controls but the rhythmic power of the behavioral oscillations in an adult locomotor activity assay is decreased as is their average free-running period in constant darkness.
