Description

Insertion of a 9.5kb roo element 674bp downstream of male specific exon 3; 249bp upstream of exon 4. The roo insertion is transcribed in the opposite direction to Sxl.

Similar to SxlM1 at molecular level.

Insertion of 9.7kb DNA into SxlM1-vd1. The insertion appears to be a roo element that has inserted in the same location and orientation as that present in SxlM1, although the roo element in SxlM2 has an internal deletion compared to the roo element in SxlM1.
