Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

The size of the 1A-5A region of the X chromosome and 21A-23F region of chromosome 2 of polytene chromosomes is significantly decreased in homozygous males compared to heterozygous controls.

Late third larval instar tissue from homozygous XY animals is poorly developed, appearing more like material from early third instar larvae.

mle8 modulates P{Adh.Wa-F} and P{wB} at various locations, but affects the same construct differently depending on an X or autosomal location.

H4Ac16, acetylated form of His4, is not localised to the X chromosome in male salivary gland nuclei.
