      Heterozygotes with enXho23 and enSac27 display wing vein abnormalities.

      Third thoracic denticle belt and first abdominal fuse, as do denticle bands A2 and A3, A4 and A5, and A6 and A7.

      Male en6/en3 transheterozygotes have abnormal genitalia, with missing claspers, and a reduced genital arch process, hypandrium, hypandrial phragma and penis apparatus. Extra genital arch and anal plate bristles are sometimes seen. Female en6/en3 flies generally have extra bristles on the dorsal part of the eighth tergite, and fewer bristles on the ventral part of the eighth tergite.
