Description

Genomic fragment of approximately 13kb that encompasses SERCA and which contains the amino acid replacement A617T in the coding sequence. This is the lesion found in SERCAUnc-ts2 mutants and is equivalent to a A606T change in the human ATP1A2 gene, a pathogenic variant which causes familial hemiplegic migraine 2 (FHM2).
