Description

Transgenic construct used to characterize the bithoraxoid Polycomb group response element (bxd PRE). A 5.1kb fragment that contains the bxd PRE, with a deletion of 70bp within the silencer element, has been inserted upstream of a lacZ reporter regulated by a Ubx promoter.
